Clavis Publishing and the city of Hasselt open the 11th edition of Key Colours, the two-yearly international contest for illustrators of children’s books.

Winner of the national illustration award Key Colours 2014 is Aurélia Higuet from Belgium! Her book “Une faim de crocodile!” will be published by Clavis Publishers.
Below some picture from the exhibition Kleurboel in Het Stadsmus Hasselt, Belgium. You can visit the exhibition from 27th of September untill 2nd of November. Children can choose their favourite picture, and the illustrator from the winning picture receives the “Kleurboelprijs”!
Next saterday the 27th of September the winner of the 10th edition of the Key Colours Illustrator’s Award will be announced!
Also, the best entries from Key Colours can be seen in a child-friendly exhibition “Kleurboel” in Het Stadsmus in Hasselt from 27th September untill the 2nd November 2014.
The winner of the international competition for illustrators – Key Colours 2012 – is Anne Schneider (illustrator) and Janna de Lathouder (author) from Enkhuizen, Netherlands, with their entry ‘All that remains’.
In addition, two other picture books will be published, that of Veronica Pock and my own! I am very happy!
I’m happy to announce that I’m nominated for the Key colours award 2012!
There were 186 participants from different countries for Key colours children’s book competition. The jury selected 43 works for the exhibition ‘kleurboel‘ in Hasselt, Belgium and then they selected only seven nominees for the award.
The winner of Key colours 2012 will be announced on Saturday 29th of September.
My work, together with the work of 43 other illustrators, has been selected for the exhibition ‘Kleurboel‘ which can be seen from 29th of september till 7th of november 2012 in Het Stadsmus, Guido Gezellestraat 2, BE-3500 Hasselt, België / www.hetstadsmus.be.
